As we come together to work towards a more sustainable and just future, it is important to acknowledge and respect the land on which we operate. The peoples of the Kulin Nation have been the traditional custodians of the land Naarm, now known as Melbourne, and its surrounds for tens of thousands of years. As have the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation to the land now known as Sydney. Their knowledge of the land and its ecosystems is invaluable, and we owe much to their continued stewardship of this land. We acknowledge and pay respect to the elders past and present, and realise that our work towards a sustainable future must be done in partnership and consultation with the traditional owners of this land.
